SGT Parrot was a
Vietnam Veteran and Bronze Star recipient. Shortly after Vietnam, he joined C/3/12
and participated in an airborne operation in Needles, California.
Unusual weather conditions during the jump caused SGT Parrot to collide with power
lines. He died from electrocution.
Parrot Drop Zone (DZ) on San Clemente Island was dedicated in his memory.
